Replacement of root-cutting machines
- Customer: Raffinerie Tirlemontoise
Date of completion:
September 2024
Every day, Raffinerie Tirlemontoise processes tens of thousands of tonnes of sugar beet into sugar. To optimize its processing campaign and ensure reliable, continuous production, the company decided to modernize some of its key equipment.
The project involved replacing two of the four beet slicers with higher-performance units, supplied by the company Putsch and specifically designed to meet the requirements of the industrial process. To integrate this new equipment, the outlets of the existing hoppers were modified and precision-cut, ensuring perfect mechanical compatibility and a smooth flow of the product.
At the same time, the work involved the partial reconstruction of the flooring, as well as the addition of extra cable trays. Throughout the project, our team provided comprehensive on-site supervision, ensuring that all work was carried out in accordance with technical specifications and quality standards.
